The Guild is for practising Handweavers, Spinners and Dyers, and those interested in furthering the crafts. Members meet all over Tasmania, see the Gatherings page for your nearest group.

yarn storeThe yarn store stocks fleece, commercially prepared wool and wool mix tops, dyes, weaving yarns and sundry other items. Yarn store officer says, "Don't forget late night shopping at the Yarn store  6-8pm every second Tuesday evening. In addition there is yarn store access each Thursday mid-morning to mid-afternoon. With  the introduction of the credit card out of town members can phone an order thru and we will post off anything you want. My new phone number is 6223 8086, leave a message and I will get back to you. As Yarn store officer I enjoy myself purchasing new and exciting fibres in all their various forms and guises. I am trying to keep up with the new trends in fibre arts...am open to new ideas and if you require anything let me know".

libraryThe Guild has an excellent library that includes the latest international magazines and many books and manuals on How To! A bi-monthly magazine is published and distributed free to financial members. The Guild is reviewing the book, titled "From Fleece to Fashion", in anticipation of releasing the 2nd edition as soon as possible. The Library is undergoing a stocktake, please check your bookshelves for over due books. There are some new books available, these include
