About the Event
The Open Day is a chance for members throughout the State to visit another Group, to sit and spin or weave, while chatting and catching up in a different location. Â Make new friendships and renew current ones while enjoying the connection that we all share - our love of fibre and its application.
The Battery Point Group extends an invitation to Members to come along and join us for a lovely day. Â Some important details that will help with your planning are shown below, so please take the time to make sure you have all the information you need for a wonderful day:
FOOD Â Please bring your own lunch but we will be providing cheese and fruit platters and cakes etc. for morning and afternoon tea. The urn will be at the ready for bottomless teas and coffees. Please bring your cup/mug if possible.
PARKING We have arranged to be able to park on the lawn area (for this event only) and so there will be more parking available. We ask that this area is kept for those who have travelled long distances or have mobility issues. There will also be a drop off area in front of the church to leave any heavy items while you street park your car.
BUY SELL SWAP ITEMS Â Bring along any of these items. They should be marked with your name, price (if applicable) and any sales to be conducted directly between members.
THE YARN STORE AND THE LIBRARY will both be open. We would appreciate an indication of numbers intending to attend.
Please RSVP by clicking here by 9 th March.
