Leiko Uchiyama hails from Japan and has travelled worldwide, teaching the art of felt making. She is presenting a two day workshop in her innovative 'Pine needle felting' technique that explores the potential of felt in modern craft practice.

Leiko Uchiyama hails from Japan and has travelled worldwide, teaching the art of felt making.  She began felting in 1992 with an innovative approach that has resulted in a truly distinctive style through the techniques employed and the aesthetic sensitivity to materials, form and function.

Please note: This workshop is limited to 12 participants, on a first-come, first-served basis. Places cannot be reserved. If you are unsuccessful, you will be placed on a waitlist in case a place becomes available. If you are a Guild member, membership details MUST be provided.
