Options for Financial Support
The HWSD Guild Tasmania Inc. provides two sources of funding to assist members to access funding in line with the aims of the Guild. Namely, to bring together everyone who practices textile and fibre crafts for their mutual benefit, for the advancement of their crafts and discussions, demonstrations and exhibitions.
The aims of the Bursary Fund are:

To provide financial assistance to any member for use to defray the costs of attendance and participation in a workshop, seminar, course or lecture which would be of interest to other members of the Guild and which would be in alignment with the objects and purposes of Association as per Clause 3 of the constitution

To assist in the costs of inviting a non-Tasmanian tutor to visit the State and provide a range of workshops within Guild Groups

The aim of this Fund is to provide financial assistance to any member to contribute to the costs of attendance and participation in a relevant Guild event (i.e. workshop, seminar, course or lecture related to the objects and purposes of Association as per Clause 3 of the constitution).
