Here are pictures from my recent experiments in making supported spindles from bits and pieces I had lying around. They all work quite well.
Held together with rubber bands, and using spools, beads, pens, pencils, metal rods, etc.
They are fun to use, especially with happy neon coloured fibre from the Yarn Store.
