About the event

Absolute Beginners Rigid Heddle Weaving

This workshop takes the mystery out of rigid heddle weaving and is for anyone with no previous weaving experience.  Join a small class of 6 where you will warp a loom and weave and finish off samples (for use as mug coasters at home) and learn how to get around mistakes and pitfalls.  Theory will be at a minimum for you to read in your own time after the workshop.  The emphasis will be on enjoying weaving and leaving with a set of coasters.

Date & Times: Saturday 6 June,  9:00am prompt start to 4pm finish

Tutor: Eva Ruzicka

What is provided:

  • Use of a Guild Sampleit Loom for each participant plus additional equipment required with each loom
