About the event
At Absolute Beginners, you can learn to card/tablet weave in a day. Join us for a small class of 6 where in one day you’ll learn the how and why’s. Even if you don’t weave, you can learn this complex looking yet very simple technique. Your tutor, Eva Ruzicka, is a Guild Member and teaches beginner weaving, having made enough mistakes so you don’t have to, and spent far too much time on the net finding resources so your patience isn’t exhausted.
You’ll take home some sample ribbons and resources to go further. Looms, wool and shuttles will be supplied and you will receive a full set of notes.
Date & Times: Saturday 5 April, 2025. (9:00am prompt start, 4pm finish)
What to Bring: A darning needle and scissors, your lunch and perhaps something to share for morning and afternoon tea.
Cost: $69 per person
