About the event
Learn the joys of Inkle Loom Weaving in this one day workshop, in a small group of 6 participants. The inkle loom is ideal for weaving colourful belts, bracelets, ribbons, guitar straps, dog leashes, decorative edging for clothing, even shoe laces!
Our tutors, Don Waller & Lien Steenekamp, are very experienced using the inkle loom and are keen to share their skills. They will guide you through the steps involved from getting to know the loom and setting it up to weaving your first band sample, and get you ready to start your own project.
Date and Time: Saturday 6 December, 9:30am to 4:30pm
Location: Parish Hall, St George's Anglican Church, 30 Cromwell Street Battery Point
What we provide: all materials and a full set of notes and an inkle loom to use on the day, tea and coffee.
