About the event
This workshop is perfect for rigid heddle weavers wanting to learn how to weave lace on a rigid heddle loom. You will learn how to use pick up sticks and string heddles to create various lace structures that can be used for pattern making, and the use of pick up sticks both in front of the reed and behind it. If time permits we will also look at the use of double heddles for creating more lace structures. If you are able to warp up a rigid heddle loom and have done some (even a little) plain weaving, this workshop is for you. You will be learning in a small group with a maximum of 8 people.
