Learn to spin raw wool fleece into yarn. During this 2 day workshop, you will learn how to wash, prepare, spin and ply a basic 2 ply yarn from wool. No previous knowledge or experience of spinning is required. All materials and spinning wheels are supplied.

About the event
After a sold-out Learn to Spin workshop earlier this year, we are delighted to offer a second workshop for those who missed out. This Learn to Spin workshop will be conducted on two Saturdays, 16 and 30 August, separated by a two week period for you to complete a task at home. Over the two sessions you will learn how to wash and prepare a fleece, then use it to spin and ply a basic 2 ply yarn. No previous knowledge or experience of spinning is required. You will have the opportunity to hire a spinning wheel to use for practice at home between the two workshop sessions.
