Our tutors, Don Waller & Lien Steenekamp, are very experienced using the inkle loom and are keen to share their skills. Â They will guide you through the steps involved from getting to know the loom and setting it up to weaving your first band sample, and get you ready to start your own project.
Looms and materials for you to use on the day will be provided for this workshop to be conducted on Saturday 21st September, and you will receive a full set of notes to keep. Â Once your booking is confirmed you will be sent course requirements. Â Please make sure you read our "Terms and Conditions" when you book for this program, as no refunds or 'makeup' classes outside the workshop will be given should you not attend.
Cost: Guild members: $65.00 Plus Ticketing Fee ($0.50) and Processing Fee (2.5% - $2.00)

On the day of the classes, the workshop room will be open 15 minutes beforehand only - that is, at 9:15am - as the area needs to be set up that morning for this workshop. Â Tea and coffee will be provided but please bring your own lunch. Â A refrigerator is available for lunch contents that need refrigeration. Further details of the program and some items for you to bring from home will be provided on enrolment.
The number of participants required for this program is 5. The maximum number of participants is 6. The Guild reserves the right to cancel or reschedule this program if enrolments are less than 5; or to cancel or postpone the workshop if any event outside our control prevents the workshop taking place (for example, Covid).
There is limited parking in the Church grounds, and street parking is available around the area.
