About the event
This day is for fun and exploration of the Saori Weaving Style where cloth is made without a plan and is more about decisions on the fly. The Japanese approach came from the idea of celebrating the mistake, that is when flaws in the cloth occur. While the relaxed adherence to the rules of weaving is part of the freedom and creativity, each weaver brings their own aesthetic to their project. If it is the first time for Saori come for an adventure into this creative approach to weaving. The day will be hosted by Joy Rees at Nandroya Vineyard, and there will be a maximum of 12 participants.
Cost: $10 per person
