September will be here before we know it, which means it’s time to start getting excited about our Annual Spinning Retreat!

If you’re planning to attend now is a great time to make sure you have booked your place and started thinking about accommodation arrangements for the weekend. St Helens is a popular destination so securing accommodation early can help avoid disappointment and give you one less thing to think about as retreat weekend approaches.

While you're making your plans don’t forget one of the highlights of the retreat weekend — our Gala Dinner on Saturday 5th September at 6:30 pm.

This special evening is a wonderful opportunity to relax after a day of fibre activities, catch up with old friends, make new ones, and celebrate our shared passion for all things fibre.

There’ll be:

• Prizes to be won

• Plenty of laughter and good company

• A chance to showcase your creativity

We encourage everyone to wear something fibre-related that they have created themselves - handspun, handwoven, knitted, crocheted, felted, dyed, stitched, or embellished… anything goes! Whether it’s a shawl, hat, vest, scarf, socks, jewellery, or a spectacular wearable artwork, this is your chance to celebrate your handmade creations.

And for those attending with partners, partners are very welcome to join us for the Gala Dinner. In fact I’ve already reserved a place at the table for mine! The more the merrier and it’s a lovely opportunity for partners to share in the fun and friendship that make our retreat such a special event.

 If you haven’t yet booked your Gala Dinner tickets, please do so soon. We want to make sure everyone has a seat for what promises to be a fantastic evening.
