12 Years in the making

Is this the longest a wip has languished in a cupboard? Probably not, however we can start out our latest challenge "how old is this wip" with the completed object worn by Launceston life member Pam.

Our roving (pun not intended) reporter Sara tells us  "These photos are of Pam, a life member at the guild.  This fabric she started weaving 12 years ago.  During the Covid lockdown she re-visited it, completed the weaving and sewed a jacket!  It is 8 shaft, hand dyed, hand woven made from silk and tencel.   It is really beautiful on and vivid colours, which I regret my phone does not show to advantage."

Thank you Pam and Sara for sharing!

Did you complete an ufo (unfinished object) or forgotten wip during the lockdown? Please share your completed projects with us
