Handy Hint for Spindle Spinners

Are your fluffy bits getting in the way of spindle spinning?

Hands too sweaty and felting the fibre?

Don’t have access to a distaff or have trouble holding one?

Glenda Taylor (NW Spinners & Weavers FB page) has this great suggestion:

Cut the heel out of an old sock, stuff the roving, etc into it and spindle away with great control as it feeds out.
