Get Excited! Bookings for the Spinning Retreat are live!

This year's retreat is the brainchild of the newly formed Break O'Day Spinners and Weavers Group who meet each Monday, 11am - 3pm in St Helens.

Two years ago, Sallie Holley and Lois Wilkinson met at the Bicheno Spinning Retreat. Despite both hailing from St Helens and being nimble-fingered fibre lovers, they'd not crossed paths. So enthused were they when they returned home, they formed a new HWSD group.

12 crafters regularly attend and visitors from further afield drop in. The group members are learning and sharing new skills, and creating delightful yarns and weaves.

After much discussion, the group has put together an enticing schedule of activities for the retreat weekend.

Love your work and enthusiasm Break O'Day Spinners! I am devastated I can't be at your fabulous Sept retreat - I will be overseas! It looks like it will be so much fun - I look forward to hearing all about it! 😃
